New EASA STC Approval obtained for Aircraft Tracking Systems Installations

We successfully applied for and were awarded the EASA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) No.: 10085368, for the installation of Blue Sky Network HE7200A GADSS Aircraft Tracking system in Airbus A300, A300-600 & A310 aircraft, on the 24th of September, 2024.

The Blue-Sky Network HE7200A Aircraft Tracking system consists of a Modem unit - model HE7200A-BB2327, Accessory Control Head - model HE100A, and external combined GNSS/Iridium Antenna - model CI 490. Via the Iridium Satellite network, this system transmits real-time location updates, detects in-flight anomalies, and transmits operational event notifications.  In case of in-flight anomalies, the system will automatically report anomalies and increase the frequency of data transmission and location updates.  Its high-grade GNSS receiver incorporates GPS for double-level tracking with exceptional accuracy.

The aircraft tracking function will provide an automated 4-dimensional position (4D-latitude, longitude, altitude and time), through automated reporting at intervals of 15 minutes or less (recommended in all areas of operation and required in oceanic areas). This reporting interval will ultimately reduce the time necessary to resolve the status of an aircraft or, when necessary, help to locate an aircraft.
